If you can read this post then that means that my web page has been successfully moved. It took me all of an hour to move everything over to dreamhost. You may remember I tried this a few weeks ago but had no luck moving to 1&1, hence…. 1&1 can suck it. Thank you, that is all.
I don’t have the words to describe how powerful this little six minute youtube video is. The best I can do is tell you that this is a documentary about the last minutes Jason Wood spent with his best friend Oden. Its shot incredibly well, but more than that, they are able to capture this mans life and the pain he experiences in doing what he feels has to be done. I normally try not to get too serious here, but this clip touched me. I have to tell you as someone who has had to say goodbye to his friend in this manner, it was probably the most difficult thing I ever had to do. There is a span of time during this act where you literally watch the life drain from their eyes. It is horrible to be a part of and something you can never forget. Our best friends deserve to be remembered and Jason has made sure that I as a complete stranger will remember his pal Oden.
The video is below. (YOU WILL CRY!)
A few months ago I came across the video promoting the “Society for Geek Advancement”. I didn’t link to it right away because to be honest I don’t think all of the people in the video can be called true geeks. Don’t get me wrong I really do respect some of them like Leo Laport, Wil Wheaton, Levar Burton, Justine Ezarik, Kevin Rose, and of course the Woz. I’m sure I’m forgetting many more. The problem is they seem to be confusing geek with hipster blogger. I’m not saying you can’t be both by any means, but with the exception of the ones I have mentioned there didn’t seem to be very many “true geeks” on that list. I’m not going to go into a long explanation about what a “true geek” is but most people know if they are, or at least know it when they see it. Any way, here is the video followed by another explaining “geek speak”. Enjoy.
I love mash up music. Taking two great songs and mashing them together, what could be better than that? Okay, maybe a puppy/kitten combo but that’s it. Here are two of my favorites so far. First is the Beatles “Come Together” mixed with Nine Inch Nails “Closer”. It’s odd how well they work together considering how different they are.
The next is the best. Its a combination of the Beatles “Eleanor Rigby” and Green Day’s “Brain Stew”.
Microsoft, you need to listen to the internet right now. Whoever you got to write/direct this game trailer needs to be hired to make a full length Halo movie. This was a perfect build up. I really want to play the game now. Good work Bungie and Microsoft.

Yes, Rick Rolling is very 2007 but I just had to share this one. It makes me really like the song again. Oh Nine Inch Nails, is there nothing you can’t do?
One last post of youtube goodness for today. Remember that anything you do…do it, LIKE A BOSS!
Oh, and if you are one of the only people on the planet who hasn’t downloaded Incredibad by The Lonely Island…you should do that NOW …but remember download the album, LIKE A BOSS!
