My life as a computer slacker…

Archive for April, 2009

  • Awww man, I find three straight episodes of Boston Legal and I have to go to bed. I guess that’s why god invented DVR. Goodnight tweeple. #
  • Goodbye Pontiac…It should have been Buick. Oh well maybe the Chinese will buy it and make cheap lead based cars that give kids cancer. #
  • Omg this guy went 17 months without changing his oil. He’s asking why his engine sounds funny :( #
  • Going to eat a late dinner and watch Jon Stewart. I like him better but Colbert has much better one liners. #
  • Donkey is giving me that look. He either has gas, or I’m about to hear the greatest knock-knock joke EVAR!….Oh, wait, yep…it was gas. #
  • RT @DieLaughing: If it’s DRM or piracy, I choose to plunder your booty. #
  • Thinking about downloading the first two seasons of “Greek.” Why can’t I stop watching this stupid show?!?!? #
  • Looking at new tires. Nitto’s Invo line seems great. Quiet ride, good dry and wet performance (important in FL), but the tread is FUGLY. #
  • Its time for bed now. One last thing before I go. Is it weird that in my dreams, my cats speak to me…in Andre the Giant’s voice? #
  • All things considered I’d rather be playing WOW. #
  • At work this lady just paid 600 to fix a car worth 400. Yikes. #
  • You know you’re addicted to WOW when you sit at work thinking about how you will get to the next level. BTW Uldaman here I come. #

80’s cartoons

Posted by 2toad

I’m not usually one to reminisce about how great things were “back in the day”. In fact aside from a crumbling economy I think we’ve got it better now than any other generation before. Except in the area of cartoons. I loved the cartoons of the 80’s and early 90’s. Now I know some will say I’m biased because I grew up on these cartoons but that’s not the case. They had stories and character development and taught a lesson. Remember the old G.I. Joe saying: “Now we know, and knowing is half the battle.” Nothing else today even comes close to that kind of awesomeness.  So it is that I leave you with four clips pulled from the depths of youtube. First is a compilation of 80’s cartoons combined with what I feel is one of the all time greatest 80’s songs. The last three are intro videos for my all time favorite cartoons. Enjoy.

  • Waiting on my day to start. Where is everyone? It’s like the economy sucks or something. Come on, poker players #
  • @sarahlane rolls a +20 to stun against Internet geeks. Just in case everybody else hasn’t said it yet: “pics or it didn’t happen” #

Welcome to my site, my name is 2toad. I'm a slacker of the highest order and computer geek with an opinion about everything. Take a look around and leave a comment or two. Enjoy!
